Recruiting is a $50B/year industry in the US, but recruiting departments and agencies still have incredibly manual processes.

We've built a better way. Our advanced matching software identifies the perfect candidates across all recruiting channels and drives the hiring process to create a seamless, white-glove experience for both companies and candidates.

Dover went through Y Combinator in 2019, and today 100+ companies use our product to run a better hiring process. We've raised $23M from top VCs and are currently profitable. We're a remote team of 50+ with hubs in San Francisco and NYC and a presence in Boston, LA, and DC.

The Role

As the second ever Product Manager at Dover, you will play a key role in defining the value Dover can deliver for customers. You will own high visibility initiatives and work closely with leadership to build and ship foundational projects. Despite being small (50 people), we have a large customer base with 150+ active customers and hundreds of weekly active users. You’ll also have an opportunity to help define and scale our product development process and our product organization.

The Responsibilities

  • Own product development from conception to launch
  • Lead and align cross-functional partners and teams: engineers, designers, analysts, marketers, business partners, and operations to drive a shared vision.
  • Develop methods for assessing product and project success, and processes to increase the likelihood of it
  • Own partner concerns and issues related to your product area
  • Empower your team by providing context, setting direction, and building alignment
  • Drive customer-driven decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution in the face of ambiguity and complexity

About You

  • 3+ years of PM experience or experience founding a startup
  • Experience with owning a product roadmap for a small to medium size team
  • Proven ability to coach your team through in managing ambiguity, holding themselves accountable, and building what customers want
  • Guide long-term thinking and innovation in an ambiguous space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent product thinking and design sense
  • (Bonus) Startup or B2B experience
  • (Bonus) Experience with setting up and improving product development processes
  • (Bonus) Experience with mentoring junior PMs
