Dover is building the first end-to-end recruiting orchestration platform for the world's top companies. We combine best-in-class candidate evaluation technology with bespoke process automation to help companies find and hire top talent for their open roles.

Recruiting is a $50B/year industry in the US, but recruiting departments and agencies still have incredibly manual processes. Recruiters and hiring managers spend countless hours on administrative work like sourcing, scheduling, coordination, and juggling dozens of recruiting tools, so they have less time to do what they do best: pitch and close candidates.

We've built a better way. Our advanced matching software identifies the perfect candidates across all recruiting channels and candidate sources, and drives the hiring process to create a seamless, white-glove experience for both companies and candidates.

Dover went through Y Combinator in 2019, and today 100+ companies use our product to run a better hiring process. We've raised $3M from top VCs and are currently profitable. We're currently a remote team of 25 with a hub in San Francisco and presence in Boston, NYC, LA and DC.

The Role

Dover is looking to grow our team of business consultants. As an early member of the team, you'll be responsible for managing our client relationships.

Your day to day work will involve interfacing with founders, CEOs, and CTOs of some of the fastest-growing companies in the world. You'll be running onboardings, helping clients refine their searches, and working inside of the Dover product to deliver results. You'll have to combine account management, product management, relationship nurturing & data analytics skills to champion the clients' needs within the company. This role will involve working cross-functionality with our entire team and our founders.As someone working both strategically and tactically with our customers, you'll be in the best position to gain insights on our product and market — helping us to shape our roadmap and make improvements across business operations.

The Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients and work with them to develop goals
  • Educate clients on the Dover process and coach them through their recruiting efforts
  • Create and closely monitor metrics to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations
  • Interface with the customer-facing team to guide product decisions and priorities based on client feedback
  • Work cross-functionally to drive strategic projects in operations, sales, marketing, hiring and customer experience
  • Build playbooks and best practices to help us scale

About You

  • Have a bachelor's degree
  • Have 1+ years of customer-facing experience
  • Experience in consulting within firms like McKinsey, BCG, or Bain is a plus
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a high sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously
  • Can move quickly and adapt to ever-changing requirements in a high-pressure environment
  • Are analytical and want to dive deep into the data and process
  • Are thorough and drive projects to completion
