Recruiting is a $50B/year industry in the US, but recruiting departments and agencies still have incredibly manual processes.

We've built a better way. Our advanced matching software identifies the perfect candidates across all recruiting channels and drives the hiring process to create a seamless, white-glove experience for both companies and candidates.

Dover went through Y Combinator in 2019, and today 100+ companies use our product to run a better hiring process. We've raised $23M from top VCs and are currently profitable. We're a remote team of 40 with hubs in San Francisco and NYC and a presence in Boston, LA, and DC.

The Role

Dover is looking for our first business operations hire. This is a pretty unique role: you will report directly to the CEO and do whatever it takes to scale the business.

We are a small team and growing quickly, so this ranges from building and managing our internal operations, defining and improving the customer experience, improving our sales processes, defining and measuring performance metrics and more.

You will work cross-functionally within the company, deeply understanding all parts of the business and interfacing with everyone on the team. You'll work both strategically and tactically to implement improvements to all parts of Dover's operations.

As our first non-technical hire, you will have unparalleled opportunity and ownership within the company.

The Responsibilities

  • Onboard new clients and educate them about recruiting and the Dover process
  • Create and closely monitor metrics to ensure we meet and exceed client expectations
  • Interface with clients and the customer-facing team to guide product decisions and priorities based on client feedback
  • Work cross-functionally to drive strategic projects in operations, sales, marketing, hiring and customer experience
  • Build playbooks and best practices to help us scale
  • Work cross-functionally to drive strategic projects in operations, sales, marketing, hiring and customer experience
  • Interface with clients and the customer-facing team to guide product decisions and priorities based on client feedback
  • Define and create SQL dashboards for internal performance metrics
  • Assist with client onboardings and define streamlined processes for the onboardings
  • Build infrastructure and best practices to support the GTM and customer success functions

About You

  • Have 1-2 years of work experience in the technology industry
  • Have experience with data analysis (must know Excel and SQL, some experience with Python or other scripting languages is a plus)
  • Have a high sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously
  • Aren't afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Ability to adapt to new requirements and projects--we're a small startup, so your day to day work will continue to evolve quickly
